Madison Takes

We included Chris Pratt as a Madison Media Fund curator because of a combination of factors.Pratt has openly discussed his Christian faith, which aligns with values often associated with conservative ideologies. His social media activity, including following certain conservative figures and organizations, has been interpreted by some as an indication of his political leanings. Some of his roles, particularly in “The Terminal List,” have been seen as appealing to audiences with conservative values, particularly those who appreciate themes of patriotism and traditional masculinity. There has been commentary that some of his work has been received well by those who feel that Hollywood has become too “woke”. For example, commentary on “The Terminal List” has stated that it is refreshing to see a show that does not have “discernible wokeness or preaching etc.”. Pratt has not explicitly declared himself a member of any political party.
